What stewardship means
Stewardship is not fundraising. It is the recognition that everything we have — our time, our abilities, and our possessions — is a gift from God, entrusted to us for a season. The steward returns a portion of these gifts to the work of His Church, freely and with joy: “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).
At Saint George, stewardship sustains everything the cathedral does: the daily cycle of worship, the formation of our children, the care of the sick and those in need, and the upkeep of the house of God itself. Every pledge, of every size, is part of that one offering.
Make your pledge
To make or renew your annual stewardship pledge, complete the 2027 Stewardship Commitment Form below. You can arrange your gift online or through the office. Your gifts are tax-deductible, and the office keeps a record of your giving for your year-end statement.
