Who we are
Teen SOYO — the Society of Orthodox Youth Organizations — is a youth ministry of the Antiochian Archdiocese. At Saint George Cathedral, SOYO welcomes children and teenagers ages 7–18, through high school. Its four pillars are worship, witness, service, and fellowship. Our young people pray together, serve the parish and those in need, and build friendships with Orthodox teens from across the Diocese through retreats, conferences, and other events.
At Saint George, SOYO activities have included pilgrimages, Lenten retreats, Bible Bowl preparation, Palm Sunday candles, parish Christmas cards, and fundraising for Special Olympics. These projects give children and teenagers opportunities to learn, serve, and spend time together in the Church.
