Cathedral Council
A ministry of stewardship, leadership, and service to the parish.
Who we are
The Cathedral Council works with the dean and pastor to care for Saint George’s finances, property, and parish administration. Its regular work includes reviewing financial reports, considering maintenance needs, and coordinating with the parish organizations.
Council meetings bring together reports from the ministries so that activities, budgets, and use of the Cathedral facilities can be considered together. Decisions are recorded and followed up through the office and those responsible for each task.
The Council also helps prepare the annual General Assembly, including the proposed budget and organization reports. Parishioners can contact the office with a Council-related question or a matter they would like considered.
